JOB SCOPE
- Lead, supervise, and mentor QA/QC Inspectors to ensure consistent quality practices on-site.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to inspectors and other team members.
- Resolve site quality issues promptly, maintaining compliance with project standards.
- Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans outlining quality control procedures.
- Create inspection checklists to standardize inspection processes.
- Ensure all QA/QC activities align with project requirements, client expectations, and approved specifications.
- Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and applicable codes to ensure work compliance.
- Conduct regular quality audits to assess work performance and identify potential issues.
- Perform detailed inspections of curtain wall components and installation to ensure adherence to standards.
- Ensure non-conformances are documented and addressed promptly.
- Participate in weekly project meetings to provide updates on quality status and site issues.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders regarding quality matters.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results, audits, and corrective actions.
- Verify compliance with safety standards during curtain wall installation activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve quality-related issues effectively.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Promote a culture of quality awareness among all personnel on-site.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years of QA/QC supervision experience in construction, ideally in curtain wall or faade projects.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards, inspection techniques, and construction codes.
- Experience in reviewing technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with MOM regulations and safety requirements is preferred.
- Chinese-speaking candidates are preferred, as the role involves liaising with Mandarin-speaking vendors and clients. (Non-Chinese-speaking candidates are also welcome to apply).
