Job Title: Quality Assurance Assistant

Job Type: Full-time (5-day work week, no OT, no shift)

Location: 5-7 mins walk from Jurong East MRT station

Salary: SGD$2500-SGD$3700/month, subject to CPF.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Assistant to join our team. This is an entry-level position offering comprehensive on-the-job training, designed for candidates with strong analytical capabilities, adaptability to dynamic, high-priority environments, and a commitment to quality excellence. Ideal candidates hold a diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, or a closely related discipline recent graduates are especially encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct systematic quality inspections of incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products to ensure full compliance with internal specifications and applicable regulatory standards

2. Perform routine quality checks across the supply chain, including receipt, in-process, and release stages

3. Support the development, documentation, implementation, and periodic review of quality control procedures and work instructions

4. Identify, document, and escalate quality deviations collaborate cross-functionally to conduct root-cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

5. Maintain accurate, traceable, and audit-ready quality records-including batch production records, test reports, and non-conformance logs-in strict accordance with ISO 13485 requirements

6. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives-such as Lean, Six Sigma, or internal quality enhancement projects-to strengthen product consistency, process efficiency, and regulatory readiness.

7. Any other duties related to the role might be assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Preferred 2 years of working experience with the Diplomain Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, or a related scientific/technical discipline

2. Fresh degree holders from the field of study are strongly welcome.

3. Demonstrated attention to detail, sound judgment, and robust analytical and problem-solving skills

4. Proven ability to work independently and effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments

5. Proficiency in reading and comprehending technical documentation in Chinese is a distinct advantage.

6. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with emphasis on data recording, reporting, and presentation

7. A proactive, growth-oriented mindset with a strong capacity for rapid learning and professional development.

8. Knowledge of CAPA, FMEA, and ISO audit will be more favourable.

9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

10. This is a 1-year renewal contract-based position.
