Dive Marine Services Pte Ltd (the Company), is part of the DM Group (the Group), which is a leading underwater inspection, repair and maintenance company with offices and operations in Singapore, Gibraltar, Belgium, Spain and Korea.
We are looking for a QHSE Manager. The manager is to evaluate and drive the quality, health, safety and environment aspects of the business across all the offices and report directly to the Board of Directors
Responsibilities
1. Handle, maintain and manage all the Company's accreditations, technical submissions, quality and regulatory matters such as Singapore Standards SS511, relevant code of practices, quality, health, safety and environmental compliances, etc.
2. Development of Company Management Systems and Procedures.
3. Plan, Implementation and maintaining the Company's Quality, Environmental, Safety & Health systems (QHSE) systems.
4. Enforcement of QHSE systems by routine inspection, enforcement checks and report directly to board of directors.
5. Ensure upkeeping, maintaining and updating of all required QHSE related procedures, forms & registers.
6. Prepare required documents pertaining to QHSE related elements for jobs and tender submissions. (e.g., MS, RA, SWP etc.)
7. Review, management and communication of safety documents
8. Prepare and carry out internal audits and manages all external audits relating to Class, ISO, WSH, RM, Clients, Projects specific etc.
9. Conduct monthly QHSE/ MR committee meetings and share audit findings and propose continuous improvement for board of director's approval
10. Implement improvements to the processes.
11. Conduct monthly WSH inspection at the workplaces (Includes inspection report)
12. Conduct quarterly drills/ trainings/ briefings/STO or as required by MOM or regulatory bodies.
13. Attend all relevant meetings as required.
14. Circulate safety circulars and implement good practices.
15. Support in hiring, provide QHSE training, and supervising all operational staffs. This includes ensuring that all personnel hold the necessary valid certifications and qualifications required for their roles. Ensuring they perform all jobs complying with the company QHSE management system.
16. Monitoring and enforcing the maintenance, inspection, and repair of boat and diving equipment to ensure that it meets safety standards and operates effectively. Ensuring all procurement vendors provide necessary certification for the equipment.
17. Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management
Requirements
Education Qualifications:
Certified Workplace Safety and Health Officer
Work Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience in QSHE department, ideally in a maritime company or have experience working in commercial diving company.
