Our client is a leading multinational engineering and construction organization specializing in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) and HVAC solutions. With a strong regional footprint, they are dedicated to delivering engineering excellence while maintaining the highest global standards of quality, environmental sustainability, and workplace safety across all our international operations. As they continue to drive growth and expansion, they are now seeking a QHSE Assistant Manager to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.
Responsibilities
Establish, standardize, and oversee comprehensive Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety (QEHS) systems across overseas subsidiaries to build a consistent culture of excellence.
Develop and implement robust QA/QC and EHS procedures, managing extensive documentation, manuals, forms, and compliance reports.
Conduct regular gap analyses, site visits, and compliance inspections to ensure strict adherence to ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
Proactively identify non-conformities and manage corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) to eliminate quality failures, safety incidents, and associated loss costs.
Drive continuous improvement by reviewing, optimizing, and digitalizing business process workflows for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.
Champion best practices and elevate the knowledge, skills, and overall competency of regional teams through targeted training and education.
Evaluate, compile, and present comprehensive reports on the QEHS performance of all overseas subsidiaries.
Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Construction Engineering.
5 to 10 years of relevant QA/QC experience within the M&E, HVAC, or Construction industries.
Deep understanding of quality management principles and a proven track record of implementing Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Strong expertise in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards, alongside practical ISO auditing skills. Certification as an Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor is highly preferred.
In-depth knowledge of M&E engineering quality control and assurance practices. Familiarity with HVAC, Mechanical & Electrical design, and associated design software is highly advantageous.
Excellent leadership and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate seamlessly across multi-cultural and cross-functional teams.
Proficient in MS Office suite.
Flexibility and willingness to travel regionally (minimum 25% of the time).
