KEY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
. Responsible and oversee day to day lab operation activities within team.
. Supervision of lab personnel, include onboarding of new hire and assignment of tasks.
. Recommend and implement QC productivity and Quality improvements.
. Ensure all laboratory analysis are completed in a timely manner, according to established test method.
. Support test, review, and usage decision activities for batches release process.
. Provide first-line support and maintaining the standard of testing activities.
. Establish, execute, review, and evaluate test procedures and laboratory documents.
. Conduct laboratory investigation in a scientific and logical manner as per procedure.
. Conduct training for QC teams and new hires.
. Support method development/validation work and equipment qualification.
. Maintain laboratory programs such as safety, housekeeping, chemical and reagent inventory, retention, stability etc.
. Maintain equipment in good working conditions, and equipment preventive maintenance and calibration schedule and work.
. Involve and participate in inspections such as safety inspection, regulatory inspections etc.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
. Fluency in English, both oral and written
. Ability to work autonomously and under pressure with strong analytical mindset
. Proficient in Ms Office and in-depth knowledge of preventive measures and laboratory best practices
. More than 5 years relevant working experience in laboratory environment with minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
. Experience in laboratory equipment operations such as GC, HPLC, UVS, and FTIR etc. with good troubleshooting knowledge.
. Good Knowledge in laboratory management systems.
. Demonstrated leadership skills including teamwork, communication, prioritization and change management.
