Job Summary
As a QA/QC Supervisor, you will lead inspections of fabricated precast components, ensure compliance with ISO and customer standards, and maintain quality documentation to uphold product excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the QC Laboratory to ensure efficient and accurate testing processes
- Inspect incoming raw materials and outgoing precast concrete products to identify and document non-conformances
- Collaborate with management and production teams to achieve product quality objectives within set timelines
- Train and guide personnel to integrate quality standards into daily work practices
- Promote a culture focused on eliminating rework by maintaining high-quality workmanship standards
- Develop and maintain calibration programs for critical concrete and rebar testing and measuring instruments
- Prepare, update, and maintain comprehensive quality reports and records for internal and external review
- Participate in interdepartmental meetings to provide QC testing updates and coordinate testing schedules
- Serve as the primary contact for internal testing requests and sample management
- Represent QC during regulatory and third-party inspections to ensure compliance
- Generate and present QC performance metrics for internal tiered meetings and quarterly business reviews
- Review and understand project documentation, including scope of services, execution plans, and schedules
- Select and monitor CONQUAS components and oversee CONQUAS procedures to maintain quality standards
- Manage e-filing and distribution of the latest approved shop drawings to production and QC teams
- Actively participate in internal project meetings with the production department to align quality goals
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support quality assurance objectives
