Job Summary
Join Incavo as a QC, Assembly & Packaging Technician to perform precision assembly, quality inspection, and packaging of machined components, ensuring all products meet strict quality and tolerance standards before shipment.
Responsibilities
Assembly
- Assemble precision mechanical/electrical components and sub-assemblies following engineering drawings and work instructions
- Perform fine assembly tasks requiring tight tolerances, alignment, and fit
- Use hand tools, torque tools, jigs, and fixtures accurately to meet specifications
- Handle machined parts carefully to avoid scratches, dents, or contamination
Quality Control
- Conduct in-process and final inspections of precision parts and assemblies
- Perform dimensional inspections using vision scope, vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, and gauges
- Inspect surface finish, tolerances, and workmanship against drawings and specifications
- Identify and segregate non-conforming products to maintain quality standards
- Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentation
Packaging
- Package precision components according to packaging specifications to prevent damage
- Apply protective materials such as foam, trays, VCI paper, or ESD materials as required
- Perform labeling, traceability tagging, and barcode verification to ensure shipment accuracy
- Verify correct part numbers, quantities, and revisions before shipment
- Prevent damage, corrosion, or contamination during transportation through proper packaging
Documentation & Compliance
- Complete inspection records, work travelers, and packaging checklists accurately
- Maintain lot, batch, or serial number traceability for all products
- Follow ISO 9001 and company quality management system procedures consistently
- Adhere to safety, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), and 5S workplace standards
Required competencies and certifications
- ITE / NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Precision Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances
- Familiarity with basic inspection tools and quality standards
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards
- Experience handling semiconductor, or medical precision components
