Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the QC laboratory, ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures.
- Coordinate and guide Laboratory Assistants in conducting tests, inspections, and quality checks on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products.
- Allocate and prioritize tasks to maximize team efficiency and ensure schedules and targets are met.
- Support the QC Manager in classifying final products and reworked lots.
- Lead troubleshooting and root-cause investigations for quality issues, implementing improvements based on gap analyses.
- Monitor in-process samples and collaborate with production teams on preventive and corrective measures.
- Prepare progress and activity reports to identify recurring product quality or testing reliability issues and address them promptly.
- Track staff performance, equipment reliability, and lab processes to ensure the QC system remains efficient and effective.
- Compile and present quality and budget reports.
- Train, mentor, and supervise laboratory staff and shift technicians, fostering continuous learning and development.
- Provide coaching and leadership to team members to drive high performance
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Chemical related field.
- Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in Laboratory Testing (Wet Chemistry).
- Good understanding of laboratory equipment such as GC, AAS, Auto-titrator, NIR etc.
- Manual Testing, we do not use automated testing machine.
