QC Inspector (Oracle/AGILE/Technical Drawing)
Responsibilities
- Verify and inspect all incoming materials flagged for inspection to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Review Supplier's First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) and inspect First Articles according to Customer requirements
- Sign off on FAI Cover Sheet and upload Supplier's FAIR into AGILE promptly after completing FA inspection and FAIR review
- Release parts in ORACLE Receiving Transaction after completing inspection for both FAI-flagged and Receiving Inspection-flagged parts
- Conduct purge and containment activities for Work In Progress (WIP) or inventory showing potential or observed nonconformance trends
- Participate in bi-weekly Material Review Board (MRB) meetings to verify, investigate, contain, and purge Non-Conformance Reports (NCR)
- Inspect and review Returned Material Authorization (RMA) nonconforming parts from suppliers and update records in AGILE
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure equipment and tools are calibrated and order necessary parts for repairs
- Perform routine and scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration of Testing, Measuring, and Monitoring Equipment (TMME)
- Collaborate daily with Quality Coordinator to support quality assurance activities
- Execute additional duties assigned by Quality Engineers and Quality Manager
Required competencies and certifications
- Certificate or Nitec in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control inspection
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings for inspection purposes
- Skill in handling measuring instruments and performing calibration
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment
