QC Associate (Immediately – Jun 27) – Pharma MNC – West

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine chemical testing of raw materials and utilities/water samples.
• Perform testing to support manufacturing processes, process validation, cleaning validation and reagent qualification.
• Support method verification, method validation and method transfer for projects and new product introduction (NPI).
• Ensure testing and documentation comply with ALCOA+, cGMP, cGDP and cGLP requirements.
• Perform peer review of laboratory testing and data.
• Perform equipment troubleshooting, calibration, maintenance and verification.
• Support investigation of OOS, atypical/invalid results and equipment issues, including CAPA closure.
• Assist with preparation and periodic review of laboratory documentation and SOPs.
• Maintain laboratory inspection readiness, inventory and good housekeeping.
• Support continuous improvement and laboratory improvement activities.
• Provide ad-hoc weekend or off-office-hour support when required.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Life Sciences or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical QC laboratory testing.
• Experience in raw material and/or utilities/water testing.
• Experience with TOC and conductivity testing will be highly preferred.
• Familiar with GMP/GLP laboratory practices and ALCOA+ principles.
• Experience in method verification/validation/transfer, laboratory investigations or CAPA will be advantageous.
• Familiar with laboratory equipment calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Comfortable providing weekend support when required.
