Position Overview
We are looking for a QC Laboratory Associate to join the Quality Control department at GSK Jurong. This role supports the day-to-day management of laboratory equipment, ensures documentation meets GMP and data integrity standards, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives within the lab. It's a great opportunity for early-career candidates - including fresh graduates - looking to build a strong foundation in pharmaceutical quality control within a global organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Management
- Support routine calibration, maintenance, and qualification activities for laboratory instruments.
- Maintain equipment logbooks and associated documentation.
- Assist in coordinating equipment servicing and vendor maintenance activities.
- Documentation and Compliance
- Ensure laboratory documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), forms, and laboratory records.
- Support investigations, deviations, CAPA, and change control activities when required.
- Comply with GMP, data integrity, EHS, and company quality requirements.
- Continuous Improvement
- Participate in laboratory audits and inspection readiness activities.
- Support process improvement initiatives within the QC department.
- Assist in implementation of laboratory best practices and operational excellence initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in a laboratory or QC environment - fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of GMP and laboratory quality/documentation practices preferred.
- Good attention to detail and strong documentation habits.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow structured procedures.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a regulated laboratory environment.
