QAQC Manager

Job Descriptions:

• To represent Company in issues relating to Quality of works. Liaise closely with BCA in the development of Quality efforts.
• Guide site team in setting Quality Objectives for the respective Project.
• Conduct meetings with staff & sub-contractors focused on achieving quality objectives.
• Guide site team in producing CONQUAS/QM assessment and coordinate with BCA to conduct pre-assessment in quality meeting.
• Set up CONQUAS incentive scheme for Director's approval.
• Organise in-house inspectors to check the works progressively and in a timely manner to establish benchmarks for the quality of works.
• Guide site team in conducting own quality checks and making good before actual assessment by relevant parties such as Consultants, Client, BCA.
• Attend quality assessment conducted by BCA or delegate assistant to do so.
• Plan duties for Maintenance Department and sub contractors in attending to clients or purchasers complaints.
• Identify training needs/courses related to quality and initiate training for staff when required.

Job Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of QA/QC experience in construction, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and relevant building codes.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage QA/QC teams.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
