QAQC Engineer (Tunnel Construction)

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities of QAQC Engineer.

Report to QMR / QAQC Manager.

Assist QAQC Manager to implement site quality assurance and quality control system on..

Coordinates and performs inspections of raw materials and finished products, applying appropriate quality assurance testing models..

Identifies the root cause of quality problems, coordinates modifications or other corrective actions..

Monitor and maintain the records of tools and instruments for calibration and ensure validity of all on-board equipment.

Ensures contract compliance by reviewing and approving quality requirements for supplier purchase orders, manufacturing and other related services..

Assist to setup QAQC controls for subcontractors.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Must have tunnelling work experience

Required Skills/Abilities:.

Thorough understanding of concrete technology, inspection, quality control and quality assurance procedures including the production of high quality pre-cast reinforced concrete tunnel segmental linings.

Education and Experience:.

Bachelors degree in Engineering with at least five years of related experience in managing quality control procedures for high quality pre-cast reinforced concrete tunnel segmental linings..

Associates degree with related coursework plus a certified quality engineer certificate
