Ensure strict compliance with various contractual QA/QC requirement conforming to project requirement.
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure product quality meets design parameters and technical requirements while also adhering to BCA's Good Industry Practice guidelines.
Supervise and manage all visual inspections and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) procedures, including those carried out by third-party subcontractors.
Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when activities deviate from approved drawings and contract specifications. Monitor corrective actions and process improvement, as well as ensuring proper defect rectification of subcontractor workers across all trades.
Coordinate with Qualified Persons (QPs) and consultants & RE to resolve and close Non-Conformance notices. Monitoring & report to project leading team until NCR close.
Prepare, submit & monitor Method Statements, Quality Records, Test Activities, Material Submissions, and T&C Procures for consultant approval.
Update and submit monthly progress reports related to quality matters to authorities, especially for SG CONQUAS requirement.
Oversee corrective actions and monitor their implementation.
Support external and internal quality audits on-site
Attend site inspection and QAQC meetings
Requirements
Min Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years QA/QC experience in the local construction industry
In-depth knowledge of quality management principles and experience with implementing QMS
Proficiency in construction management software and QA/QC documentation tools
Experience in MEP building construction works
BCA CONQUAS/Quality Mark certification is a mandatory
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
