Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily process checks for NDT, X-ray, and welding lines.
  • Cleaning/Masking of NDT parts prior to inspection
  • Ensure the correct selection of equipment and materials for welding processes.
  • Perform TIG welding repair on part
  • Process and inspect TIG-welded and NDT/X-ray components.
  • Interpretation of Code, Standards, and Specifications
  • Interpret results, analyze test data and images to identify possible defects, issues and material inconsistencies.
  • Record results in accordance with applicable acceptance criteria
  • Support the development and implementation of quality control procedures for special processes
  • Upkeep of process system and testing equipment to ensure its continuous operations in compliance to approved customer documents criteria
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager (QAM)

Requirements

  • ITE, N or O level/Diploma in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering or other equivalent
  • Preferably with experience in process, production and continuous improvement is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written) in English
  • Strong technical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprint and customer specifications
  • Preferably certified in NDT Fluorescent Penetrant Testing (NAS410).
  • Preferably certified 6G TIG Welding
  • Preferably certified Xray RT - NAS410
  • Experience in X-ray technique development is a plus
  • Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
  • Ability to operate and maintain specialized NDT equipment effectively
  • Previous experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry is an advantage
