QA Technician

Job Description:

• Perform measurement using CMM esp Machining Parts & Critical Sheet metal parts.
• Proficiency in using of measuring equipment to perform part measurement and good understanding of GD & T.
• Assist FA Engineer for checking of FA parts which require CMM and Smart scope.
• Need to write CMM programmed for new parts.
• Maintain CMM report and/or dimensional report and update Inspection progress status.
• Ensure part being measured on time and released to manufacturing and need to be involved for any quality issue feedback esp dimensional issue.
• Liaise with other relevant departments/section for any FA part issue arises and take the necessary actions to resolve issues and implement corrective measures.
• Monitoring of important measuring dimension as per customer requirement, may need to adopt SPC chart as and when necessary.
• Follow up on measuring equipment calibration and monitoring the calibration status.
• Provide training to QC inspectors for new part once released to manufacturing.
• Support internal audit for ISO9001 & 14001.
• Any other matters delegate by the superiors.

Jobs Requirement

• Nitec in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Quality Engineering or equivalent.
• 2 - 3 years experience in inspection or quality control environment.
• Experience with CMM inspection systems and measurement tools.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings and specification.
• Capable of independent judgment in final inspection and verification tasks.
• Good problem-solving analytical skill.
