Understand and implement Company QA/QC Policy and Procedures on assigned Projects.
Ensure the requirements of Project Quality Plan/Manual is implemented and adhered to the assigned Projects.
Ensure assigned Projects meet Quality requirements as set out in the design drawings and Contract documentation.
Liaise with Clients and Sub-Contractors Quality representatives.
Monitoring implemented Quality system through periodic audits.
Carry out regular internal and external audits and prepare reports of findings.
Participate in audits by Clients team of the Company's systems implemented on assigned Projects.
Make recommendations to Project team regarding improvements on Quality.
Training employees on Quality Assurance and Quality Control compliance requirements.
Assist Project and QA Manager in inspection and testing as necessary.
Liaise with Independent Inspection and Testing Agency in respect of factory and Site inspections to be in line with Project Specification requirements.
Physical checks and audits of pre-assembly works and fabricated items prior to be delivered to site for installation.
Co-ordinate in process and post process inspections of all steel works and faade elements from Sub-contractors in accordance with Project Quality and Site delivery requirements.
Inspect Sub-Contractors factories to ensure Project QA/QC requirements have been implemented & followed
Issuance and monitoring of NCRs towards closure in line with Contract requirements.
Checking that all non-conforming materials, components and equipment are promptly identified and segregated pending their final disposition.
Coordinate with the managers and supervisors of the projects.
Responsible for closure of Non-conformance reports and Site Instruction.
Requirements:
A recognised Degree or Diploma in Civil/Structural /Mechanical Engineering.
Fluent in oral and written communication in English
Computer knowledge - Word, Excel, Powerpoint
At least 5 years of experience in the Construction/Facade/Steel fabrication Industry in similar capacity
