About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated QA Engineer to join our software development team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through hands-on testing, automation, and collaboration with developers and product managers. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for quality who wants to grow their expertise in modern testing practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across web, mobile, and API-based applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects using issue management tools (e.g., Jira).
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to review requirements and clarify acceptance criteria.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of test automation frameworks.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective.
- Ensure test results are clearly reported and communicated to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of QA/testing experience in software development environments.
- Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Diploma/Polytechnic, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).
- QA/Testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB Foundation Level).
- Interest in expanding automation and DevOps skills.
