MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the full spectrum of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities of the Company
- Oversee all equipment buy-off requirements, including Internal Buy-Off (IBO) and Customer Buy-Off (CBO)
- Manage internal and external Corrective Action Requests (CARs) to ensure timely response and closure
- Review, maintain, and update QA processes, systems, and operational workflows
- Lead and drive quality improvement initiatives to enhance performance beyond basic compliance to standards
- Monitor and drive quality performance across the supply chain
- Plan and conduct supplier quality audits, including qualification and re-certification of new and existing vendors
- Support the Company's supply chain development through effective quality management
- Prepare and compile weekly and monthly QA reports
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Possess a Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical/Production/Mechatronics Engineering,
- At least 3 years related QA working experience in a manufacturing environment
- Good knowledge of metrology requirements with teaching skills (using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height & Depth Gauge, Profile Projector, Gauge Block and Smart Scope, etc)
- Strong problem-solving techniques (e.g. 8D discipline, FMEA, QC Tools on Analysis of datas, etc)
- Good written and verbal communication
- Have a penchant for details and strict with documentation and specification compliance
- Independent and initiative to develop and drive quality improvement programs
- Ability to work as a good team player
