Description
We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, with a focus on test automation and performance testing. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases to ensure product quality.
- Identify, record, and track bugs and defects using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on product functionality.
- Perform regression testing and ensure that existing functionalities continue to work after changes are made.
- Participate in code reviews and provide input on testability and quality aspects of the code.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for continuous testing processes.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for test automation.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
