Position: QA Engineer (Chemical Industry) (Job ID: 20173)

Job Description:
Oversee incoming quality inspections and analyse supplier performance, identifying trends and driving quality improvements
Monitor product quality from incoming to outgoing stages using SPC and ensure compliance with customer requirements
Manage and maintain QA documentation in compliance with ISO standards and internal quality systems
Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams/departments to address interdepartmental quality-related issues
Ensure accuracy and integrity of QA data and records in accordance with established procedures
Investigate and resolve quality issues, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
Support customer enquiries by preparing and coordinating quality-related documentation
Prepare and review quality documentation (e.g., COA, reports) in accordance with approved procedures and customer requirements
Participate in customer complaint investigations, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation
Coordinate evaluation/ad-hoc samples sampling activities and analyse data to support quality decisions and reporting
Plan and participate in internal and external audits, ensuring audit readiness and compliance
Conduct risk assessments/FMEA/training and support continuous improvement initiatives
Promote and participate in quality/EHS related programs conducted by the company
Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on business needs
Job Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Chemical or science discipline.
At least 2 years (for Degree) / 5 years (for Diploma) of relevant working experience
Good working knowledge of quality control standards and statistical analysis skills
Ability to communicate clearly in both writing and verbally and good interpersonal and presentation skills
Strong understanding of ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards will be an advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
