DESCRIPTION:
Join our collaborative team as a Commercial Analytics Manager and help advance Thermo Fisher Scientific's mission of enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. In this key role, you'll lead our commercial analytics efforts within the Southeast Asia region, partnering with commercial colleagues and business leaders to develop and implement innovative data solutions that support strategic decision-making across the organization.

You'll oversee the development and maintenance of data infrastructure and solutions, ensuring data quality, accessibility, and reliability. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll translate complex business requirements into actionable insights and drive continuous improvement in our data management processes. Your expertise will be valuable in developing scalable data solutions, implementing governance frameworks, and promoting a data-driven culture.

This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by using advanced analytics tools and methodologies to enhance commercial effectiveness, operational efficiency, drive business growth, and support critical initiatives across our organization. You'll collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to deliver valuable insights that inform strategic decisions and improve business outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner closely with commercial, finance, and operational teams to learn the business and develop deep understanding of business requirements and way of working
  • Utilize and enhance existing data architecture and infrastructure to build scalable solutions to meet a multitude of business needs
  • Conduct analytics including business performance analysis, risk and opportunity analysis, sales pipeline analysis and other digital analytics
  • Build standard reports to provide visibility to leadership with objective data points to enable data driven decisions.
  • Lead and prioritize projects, coordinating departmental or cross-functional teams to deliver project results
  • Drive continuous improvement and reengineering of operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Advanced degree plus 5 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 7 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related field
  • Preferred Fields of Study: Computer Science, Data Science, Business, Engineering, or related fiel
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, R, SAS, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and enterprise data warehouse solutions
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align data strategies with organizational goals
  • Familiarity with sales performance, pipeline management, financial forecasting processes a plus
  • Excitement to deeply engage and learn about the business via cross functional collaboration
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills suitable for all organizational levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
  • Travel up to 20% as required
