We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Southeast Asia. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. You will collaborate closely with developers and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our customers needs.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test scripts using appropriate testing frameworks.
- Perform regression testing and maintain automation test suites.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand system requirements and ensure quality standards.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using a bug tracking system.
- Analyze test results, provide feedback, and ensure continuous improvement of the testing process.
- Participate in test planning and strategy discussions to enhance the testing approach.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in QA automation testing, preferably in a software development environment.
- Familiarity with API test frameworks (Playwright, SoapUIetc); develop/maintain scripts; integrate with CI/CD.
- Basic understanding of programming languages (JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL).
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Infra knowledge: IaC (Terraform) and AWS Cloud Native services
