QA Automation Engineer

Job Description

. We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in test automation and data testing.

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, system reliability, and high-quality deliverables through robust automated testing frameworks and practices.

Key Responsibilities

. Quality Assurance & Testing Ensure data correctness, pipeline reliability, and regression stability across environments Define and implement data testing strategies aligned with best practices

. Develop and execute test cases for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts

. Automation & Technical Excellence Build and maintain test automation frameworks

. Integrate continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines Identify automation opportunities and drive test automation initiatives Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards

. Collaboration & Reporting Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders

. Document test plans, strategies, and results

. Provide clear reporting on defects, quality metrics, and testing progress

. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies

Required Qualifications & Experience

. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering or related field 3-5 years of experience in QA and Test Automation Proven experience in developing and executing automated test scripts

. Technical Skills Strong experience with automation tools: Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Pytest

. Proficiency in programming: Python, Java, or JavaScript

. Experience in data testing and validation Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)

. Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured)

. Hands-on with Git version control Strong knowledge of SQL and database testing

Preferred Qualifications

. Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)

. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

. Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes Experience in ETL / data pipeline testing ISTQB or equivalent QA certification

. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
