Python Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer with strong expertise in Python programming and SQL to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development experience, good database knowledge, and the ability to work independently on complex technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Python.
• Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable Python code.
• Write complex and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, joins, subqueries, and CTEs.
• Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and backend services.
• Troubleshoot application and database-related issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Optimize application performance and SQL queries.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding and development best practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Write unit tests and ensure code quality and reliability.
• Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of hands-on development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and backend development.
• Strong knowledge of OOP concepts, data structures, and exception handling.
• Experience writing complex SQL queries and performing query optimization.
• Good understanding of database design, indexing, transactions, and normalization.
• Experience with Git/version control.
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
