Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Purchasing Manager / Senior Procurement Executive / Purchasing Assistant based in Singapore, with the flexibility to work from home on a partial basis. The selected candidate will oversee procurement activities such as sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, evaluating proposals, and managing supplier relationships. They will ensure timely purchasing of materials and services, maintain inventory levels, and align procurement activities with organizational goals. Responsibilities also include cost optimization, monitoring supply chain performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract management skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage budgets and control costs
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration abilities
  • Proficiency in procurement software, supply chain tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of the rail and civil engineering industries is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Ability to work independently while effectively managing hybrid work arrangements
