Looking to grow your career in a global and dynamic organisation where you can drive procurement strategy, optimise cost efficiency, and make a meaningful impact Redwood is seeking a proactive and results-driven Purchasing Manager to lead and oversee procurement operations.

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on and strategic Purchasing Manager to lead the end-to-end procurement function, ensuring materials are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with project timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring materials are sourced at optimal cost, quality, and lead time to meet project requirements
  • Manage supplier relationships, including sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and resolving issues related to delivery, quality, and performance
  • Oversee inventory planning and material logistics, including bulk purchasing strategies to achieve cost savings and ensure timely delivery
  • Review and manage procurement processes such as RFQs, RFPs, and purchase orders to ensure efficiency and compliance
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including supplier performance management, cost optimisation, and process enhancements
  • Lead and develop the procurement team, including performance management, training, and capability building
  • Conduct regular reviews of procurement operations, including supplier database, SOPs, and departmental performance

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in construction, interior fit-out, or related industries
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing, supplier management, and cost control
  • Good negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Leadership experience is preferred
