Job Description

  • Oversee and manage purchasing team
  • In-charge of all purchasing and related matters
  • Responsible for sourcing, evaluation and procurement of supplies
  • Source for appropriate products and services with the best possible pricing and payment terms
  • Issue Request for Quotation to suppliers for new items
  • Issue Purchase Orders to suppliers
  • Liaise with suppliers on changes to orders and confirmation of orders
  • Process and verify delivery orders and invoices
  • Perform regular stock take
  • Maintain and upkeep inventory control
  • Calculate costs and prepare cost analysis
  • Support operations team and perform operational duties whenever necessary
  • Provide support for special projects
  • Perform any other job tasks assigned by the management

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Procurement or related field
  • Minimum 2 years experience in similar role in Chinese restaurant
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office is mandatory
  • Meticulous with an eye for details
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in reading, writing and spoken English & Chinese / Mandarin - in order to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates
  • Team player who is also able to work independently
  • Able to multi-task and handle high volume of work in fast paced environment
