Your day to day
As Purchasing & Hygiene Executive, you will support Purchasing & Hygiene Manager in overseeing daily operation of Purchasing & Hygiene team. Supporting purchases of the hotel and consistently contributes cost savings.

People

Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
Guide junior team member as assigned.

Responsible Business
Purchasing

Assist Purchasing Manager with the purchasing of all goods and equipment required by the hotel.
Obtain competitive quotations for hotel requirements and ensure that the best productis sourced and purchased, using group nominated suppliers where applicable.
Ensure the purchase of correct goods and materials at a competitive price and proper quantities/volumes.
Ensure locally nominated supplier information is kept current.
Monitor all areas of purchasing including contracts, leases and nominations.
Ensure a comprehensive system for allocating and reconciling purchase orders.
Other ad-hoc duties - unexpected moments when we have to pull together to get a task done.

Hygiene

Assist in ensuring that the HACCP/any relevant system is strictly adhered and maintained in accordance to all the procedures and work instructions established.
Initiate action to prevent the occurrence and recurrence of any non-conformances relating to the product, processes and the HACCP/any relevant system.
Conduct an internal food safety and hygiene audit on regular basis or as required by HACCP/any relevant system for all outlets and kitchens.
Conduct monthly interdepartmental food safety and hygiene meeting with minutes andaction plan for follow up.
Liaise with other government agencies such as Singapore Food Agency (SFA) and Majlis Ugama Islam Singapore (MUIS) in all hygiene related matters.
Prepare and update documentation and audit for the certification/re-certification of HACCP/any relevant system.
Keep record of all food safety and hygiene related documentations such as but not limited to training records, employee certifications, outsourced cleaning company cleaning schedule and cleaning records.
Work with Learning & Development Manager or HR Director on hygiene related training and conduct training as necessary.
Other hygiene related duties as assigned.

Financial

Prepare the month end accounts reports in an accurate and timely manner.
Maintain a record of commitments for all budgets and ensure that the relevant senior managers are constantly informed of updates.
Maintain Purchase Plus database in an organized manner.
Maintain supplier product data including catalogue content, product specifications, photographs, descriptions and pricing and keep them confidential.

Guest Experience

Help to ensure Brand Standards are met to provide quality goods/service to guests.

What we need from you

At least diploma or equivalent in related discipline.
Understanding or keen interest in hotel procurement, supply chain, or/and food safety and hygiene prior experience in hospitality is an advantage, but fresh graduatesare welcome to apply.
Relevant experience in purchasing/hygiene is preferred.
Must speak fluent English.
