Position Overview:
. Manage stock levels and execute purchase orders to ensure optimal inventory turnover.
. Liaise with suppliers to follow up on orders, resolve delivery issues, and maintain strong working relationships.
. Support sales by sourcing products, obtaining quotations, and proposing alternatives when needed.
. Update and maintain accurate product and purchasing data in the ERP system.
. Prepare purchase and stock reports for management review and communicate updates on delivery schedules, product changes, and availability.
Required Skills and Experience:
. Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline with engineering knowledge
. Prefer the candidate have 3 years and above purchasing experiences.
. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with strong knowledge of Excel to include V-lookups, pivot tables, and formulas
. Strong negotiation skills
. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
. Experience in problem-solving and decision-making
. Know the legislative, operational, logistical or administrative issues regarding to purchasing
. Ability to work and thrive under pressure in fast-paced environment while being able to multi-task
. Works cohesively as part of a team and has an enthusiastic and good team spirit
