In Singapore, we specialise in Supply & Install of lightings in turnkey projects.
The role and responsibilities include, but not limited to
1) PURCHASING & PROCUREMENT function (core function)
- Process purchase requisitions and issue POs
- Source and procure lighting products locally and overseas
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and warranties
- Maintain supplier records and ensure compliance with project specifications
2) LOGISTICS function (approx. 2%):
- Coordinate deliveries with suppliers and project teams
- Support local and international shipments
- Monitor shipment status and report potential delays
3) INVENTORY CONTROL function (approx. 2%):
- Track material availability to prevent shortages or excess
- Support cost comparison and supplier evaluation
4) Cross-Functional Support
- Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, and Accounts for smooth procurement
- Assist with supplier pre-qualification and compliance documentation
5) Any other ad hoc duties assigned
Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma
- Minimum 2 years experience in a purchasing/supply chain position.
- Strong negotiation & communication skills.
- Able to handle multi projects and tight timelines.
- Motivated to work in challenging, fast paced, and result-driven environment.
