Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct the activities of all functions involved in the procurement.
- Develop strategies, policies, procedures, and overall team to optimize value of the entire function in creating a world class materials management group.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement.
- Develop and continuously improve supplier programs.
- Participate in the design and implementation of new ERP system and optimize its use.
- Lead negotiation efforts for major contracts.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets accordingly.
- Establishes annual goals and objectives, (including stretch targets) in coordination with corporate objectives and manages performance to ensure attainment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain roles (with 10+ years of experience managing a team).
- Ideally from global independent/broker company.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships within and outside the organization.
- Ability to collaborate and coordinate with different business units globally.
- Flexibility to adjust working hours for global coordination/meetings.
- Experience in preparing reports or market insights.
- Proficient with standard office tools and basic analytics platforms (such as Power BI).
