Job Summary:
We are seeking a responsible and proactive Purchasing cum Admin Executive with experience in the construction sector. The candidate will be responsible for handling procurement activities, coordination with suppliers and site teams and providing administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. A Valid Class 3 driving license is required to support office related duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchasing Duties:
- Source, negotiate and purchase construction materials, tools and equipment based on site requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers, sub-contractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency
- Prepare purchase orders, GVN, delivery orders and maintain procurement records
- Track material deliveries and resolve discrepancies or delays
Administrative Support Duties:
- Support HR and Admin with attendance records, leave or MC tracking and basic payroll preparation and documentation
- Coordinate with site supervisors and project team on administrative matters
- Handle general office duties and ad-hoc administrative task.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: A certificate or diploma in purchasing and Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in Purchasing, HR or office administration is advantageous.
Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software (e.g., Attendance Management System).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capable of handling confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Construction materials suppliers and site operations
- Valid class 3 driving license
