Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to manage both local and international procurement activities. The ideal candidate will support our purchasing department by sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor Inventory Levels: Regularly assess stock levels to identify purchasing needs.
Source Suppliers: Research and evaluate potential local and overseas vendors.
Order Processing: Prepare and process purchase orders accurately.
Track Shipments: Ensure timely delivery by monitoring and expediting orders.
Maintain Records: Update internal databases with order details, including dates, vendors, quantities, and discounts.
Perform general admin support and assist in ad hoc operational matters ( example: Sales Order )
Other administration duties assigned from time to time
