Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Purchaser:
Job Responsibilities
- Source and procure construction equipment, spare parts, and materials based on operational requirements.
- Request, compare, and evaluate supplier quotations to ensure the best balance of price, lead time, and quality.
- Negotiate terms with vendors, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment conditions.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, while monitoring delivery progress to meet project timelines.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including supplier information, price lists, and lead-time data.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast and fulfil material requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure availability without excessive stockholding.
- Assess supplier performance and support improvement initiatives where necessary.
- Resolve procurement-related issues such as delays, quality concerns, or contractual non-compliance.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably involving equipment, spare parts, or industrial materials.
- Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
- Good negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and procurement systems.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to SGD 3,000 +VB
- Working Location: Tuas (Company Pick Up Provided)
- Working Hours: 5 days, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5:30pm
