Responsibilities

  • Research potential vendors.
  • Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
  • Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Review quality of purchased products.
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.

Requirements and skills

  • 3-5 years in Construction industry as purchaser.
  • Knowledge of construction material and source of suppliers.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or any related fields.
  • Proficient in computer applications (MS Office Applications).
