Manage procurement activities for assigned vessels in compliance with company policies and budget guidelines.
Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Coordinate with vessel superintendents, technical teams, and suppliers to ensure accurate specifications and delivery schedules.
Monitor order status and expedite deliveries to avoid vessel downtime.
Compare quotations and conduct cost analysis to achieve optimal pricing and quality standards.
Ensure purchases comply with maritime regulations, class requirements, and company HSSE policies.
Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor database, and documentation for audit purposes.
Handle supplier performance evaluations and resolve discrepancies related to delivery, quality, or invoicing.
Support inventory planning and spare parts forecasting to ensure operational readiness of vessels.
Diploma in Maritime Studies, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
Minimum 2-3 years of procurement experience in shipping, ship management, or marine-related industries.
Strong knowledge of marine spare parts, technical stores, and vessel operations is preferred.
Good negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
