The Purchase & Inventory Executive is responsible plan and schedule inventory coordinating purchases, ensuring timely delivery, updating entries into SAP B1 and maintaining records.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Issuing purchase order with close follow up on the receipt of goods ensuring in line with agreed timelines
- Coordinate with Sub-Contractor for services, close monitoring and follow up to ensure agreed deadlines are met
- Coordinate delivery schedule and logistics arrangement including the coordination with third party transportation for both overseas and local purchases
- Review minimum stock quantities and replenish timely to ensure efficient stock level at all times
- Purchase order planning, consolidate consignment for costs efficiencies
- Maintain update purchasing records/data i.e. update information on prices, qualities, lead delivery time for each supplier and product
- Supporting handling and monitoring of claims to factories and vendors for defectives, shortage, missing item
- Manage, coordinate, and control the daily operation in the warehouse in order to have efficient warehouse operation
- Maintain accurate filling and record system for inventory
- Prepare and provide purchase/ inventory related report as and when required
- Check and receive incoming goods, spare parts, and raw materials
- It is not possible to enumerate all duties, but your scope covers all Procurement/ Purchase and Inventory related responsibilities

Key functional competencies and relevant experience:
- Candidate must possess at least a diploma in civil/structural engineering or mechanical engineering.
- Some working experience would be an advantage, including hands on and report/document writing.
- Possess a high level of integrity, ethics and able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Understanding of Structural Materials / construction accessories
- The ability to be flexible, decisive and quick-thinking
- Experience organizing and conducting tests (e.g. tensile testing) would be an advantage.
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is essential.
