Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily procurement activities, including sourcing products, comparing costs, preparing quotations, negotiating prices, placing orders, and following up on deliveries.
  • Coordinate with the operations and sales teams to complete orders.
  • Maintain accurate purchase, pricing, and invoice records, and ensure invoices match the PO/DO.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers.
  • Review supplier options and handle disputes with customers/suppliers when needed.
  • Review approved vendors regularly and comply with ISO and internal policies.
  • Support other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience

1. Possess minimum a Diploma in related field with at least 5 years of relevant working experience (Ship chandler)

2. Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

3. Able to work independently in fast pace environment handling high volume transactions

4. A great team player with proactive attitude

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, leadership and problem-solving skills.

6. Proficient in MS Excel, and experience with CheckSCM is an added advantage

7. Prior procurement experience relating to Hotel Engineering or Facility Management is highly preferred.
