Job Description

The Opportunity

Adecco is partnering with our client, a Singapore statutory board, to search for a Public Transport Fares & Policy Officer.

This is an opportunity to support public transport fare policy reviews and regulatory functions, contributing to research, data analysis and policy development that supports fare affordability and the financial sustainability of Singapore's public transport system.

Work Arrangement: On-site
Working Location: Central-West Singapore
Working Hours:

Monday-Thursday: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Salary: SGD 4,215 - 7,440 per month, depending on relevant experience

The Talent

Degree in Economics or a related discipline
Interest or experience in economics, finance, research or public policy
Experience in policy research, formulation and development will be advantageous
Knowledge or experience in statistical analysis and/or SQL
Strong analytical, writing and presentation skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Meticulous, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
Ability to think strategically and work independently as well as collaboratively
Comfortable working under pressure and engaging with multiple stakeholders

The Job

Conduct research and analysis on public transport fare policies, developments and practices in Singapore and overseas
Analyse data and develop policy options relating to fare affordability and financial sustainability
Perform statistical analysis and prepare policy papers, reports and presentations
Engage with stakeholders, industry players and government agencies on policy matters
Support the organisation's regulatory and licensing functions
Handle feedback and enquiries related to public transport matters
Undertake other policy and operational duties as assigned
