Job Summary
Coordinate and manage public relations activities forconstruction projects, engaging residents and stakeholders to ensure smoothproject execution and effectivecommunication.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate public relations programs for construction projects to engage residents and stakeholders
- Explain and demonstrate the locations and purposes of Enhancement for Active Seniors (EASE) retrofit provisions to residents
- Respond promptly to enquiries and feedback from residents, consultants, and authorities to resolve issues effectively
- Take proactive measures to mitigate complaints arising from construction activities and suggest fall-prevention measures on-site when needed
- Arrange timely execution of works within flats to minimize disruption
- Liaise proactively with statutory boards, government departments (e.g., HDB, PUB, Town Councils), and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project progress
- Manage public requests and complaints, maintain detailed records, and track feedback cases to closure to ensure accountability
- Prepare and deliver monthly project reports and weekly updates to keep stakeholders informed
- Collaborate closely with contractors to address and reduce complaints related to construction activities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure efficient office and project operations
- Execute administrative duties accurately and timely to support project workflows
- Uphold and enhance the company's reputation through effective stakeholder engagement and maintain positive relations with residents
- Attend construction working committee meetings and provide administrative and logistical support, including meetings scheduled outside normal working hours (9am to 11pm)
- Perform additional administrative tasks and ad-hoc duties as required
Required competencies and certifications
- Competency in managing public relations issues and handling project queries effectively with residents
- Good communication and interpersonal skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in one other official language (to support diverse stakeholder engagement)
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- GCE A Level qualification with at least 2 years of public relations experience, preferably in the building trade (HIP/BTO/NRP Project)
