Job Description & Requirements:
The Public Relations team is responsible for executing all PR-related functions, including representing the Military Attache Office's interests with immigration and airport authorities, managing reception protocols, and welcoming visitors from the UAE -whether for tourism, medical treatment, or as part of official delegations. They also ensure the provision of necessary support and facilities as required by relevant authorities and official agencies.
Main Duties:
- Preparations and receiving of Official delegations in coordination with the Military Attache Office and diplomats.
- Provide Logistical support to official delegations and the Embassy in coordinating with all sections of the Embassy
- Supervise with follow-up on the movements & schedules of the Military Attache Office's vehicles and organizing the schedule of drivers.
- Follow up on all car maintenance and related matters (insurance/tickets/fuel,etc.)
- Provide support and assistance for UAE citizens in immigration matters (Visa Extensions)
- Provide support and assistance for the family of Diplomats in immigration matters
- Overseeing maintenance of diplomats residences
- Responsible for building beneficial relationships with providers of interest mission (Hotels/Restaurants/Airport/Transportation/Immigration (ICA), etc.)
- Record all correspondence of official docs and archive in an orderly manner
- Track the completion of governmental procedures and transactions, and refer to official authorities in the host country concerning official business of the embassy, such as issuing flight permits, customs clearance and the diplomatic pouch, and follow up.
Experience & Qualifications Required
- Candidate is either a Singaporean National or Permanent Resident.
- Candidates must possess a university degree in public relations, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Proven 2 years of working experience in public relations required
- Effectively and proficiently bilingual (speech & written) in English and Arabic Language to liaise with Arabic speaking guest and associates.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Event planning experience will be an advantage.
Skills and Behavioural qualities: -
- IT proficiency is necessary, with competency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint).
- Proficient in Arabic Language & Advanced English Language (speech & written)
- Effective verbal and listening communication skills
- Stress management with analytical & problem-solving skills
- Teamwork and readily adapts to new situations & way of working when required.
- Is receptive to changes and demonstrates a willingness to adapt to them effectively.
