About the position

We are seeking a highly motivated Public & Patient Comms Intern to assist with event & campaign management and digital profile creation for key opinion leaders (KOLs). This role involves working closely with clinicians and senior leaders to build their online presence and refresh website content. You will also be required to manage event operations and develop content for online and offline campaigns to support the People & Public Comms portfolio.

The intern will support NCIS integrated communication strategies to enhance NCIS Experience. This role involves developing and implementing campaign plans, tracking event impact metrics, identifying trending topics, supporting the media and communications team, and ensuring integrated communications across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Events Management

Assist in planning and coordination of various events from start to finish, ensuring successful implementation and logistics.

Create Digital Profiles and Content for KOLs

Develop and maintain LinkedIn/X profiles for clinicians and senior leaders.

Build and optimize NCIS social media profiles and pages to enhance NCIS branding.

Develop Content and Copywriting

Update and refresh all website and brochure content, including copywriting and editing clinical information in collaboration with clinicians and other stakeholders.

Campaign Management

Plan campaigns consisting of email, webinars, videos, social media advertising, marketing collateral, and new tactics to drive awareness, and build brand advocacy

NCIS Initiatives

Plan, support and drive the execution of NCIS initiatives and other assigned projects

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

IT Savvy, in-tune with digital economy and familiar with managing digital platforms

Excellent copywriting, editing, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams

Excellent attention to detail and project management abilities

Hands-on experience in healthcare campaign development and execution, working alongside the communications team to support ongoing cancer awareness initiatives

Take ownership of a designated project from conception through completion

Develop essential project management skills in a healthcare communications context
