Job Description
Cortex & Compassion Psychology is a clinical practice dedicated to advancing the standard of mental healthcare through evidence-based, person-centered treatment. The team integrates established psychotherapeutic approaches with emerging clinical innovations, including advanced options for treatment-resistant depression. Care is highly personalized and integrative, tailored to the unique needs and goals of each individual. Rooted in clinical excellence, the practice is committed to combining rigorous scientific methods with genuine compassion. Team members join a forward-looking environment focused on improving psychological care and outcomes.
Role Description: As a Psychiatrist at Cortex & Compassion, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and integrated treatment planning for adolescents and adults within our boutique outpatient practice.
Beyond clinical excellence, we champion a whole-person paradigm of care. We are looking for a collaborative physician who is intellectually curious and deeply aligned with integrative mental health—someone who bridges evidence-based psychiatry with holistic modalities such as nutrition, meditation, and lifestyle medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough initial psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for adolescents and adults.
- Partner closely with our in-house team of clinical psychologists and therapists to co-manage patient care.
- Monitor clinical progress and adapt treatment strategies within an interdisciplinary framework.
- Integrate holistic health perspectives (e.g., nutritional psychiatry, mindfulness, and somatic well-being) into clinical practice.
Qualifications
- Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry; active or eligible in Singapore
- Demonstrated expertise in Psychiatric Care and Mental Health, including assessment, diagnosis, and psychopharmacology.
- Experience or interest in Adolescent Psychiatry, with skills in working with youth and families when applicable.
- Experience in collaborative, interdisciplinary settings and comfort working alongside psychologists and therapists.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and integration of emerging clinical innovations.
- Prior work in outpatient or integrated behavioral health settings is beneficial; familiarity with treatment-resistant depression is an advantage.
