This strategic role will be responsible for the management of the regional and local bancassurance partnership across a selected group of markets. The role will be responsible for collaborate with stakeholders of all key divisions within Group and Local Business Units (LBUs) to optimize sales productivity, deepen customer penetration across all segments in the bank, bringing thought leadership in sales model and tools.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation, approval and execution of annual business plans with assigned LBUs.
- Drive delivery of performance targets, with focus on distribution initiatives, product delivery, marketing and digital tools, new channel expansion.
- Support the regional partnership account with LBUs with focus on building collaborative relationships with key executives, delivery of strategic objectives and consolidated partnership sales results.
- Monitor and review agreed business plan KPIs, highlighting any risks to plan delivery and agreed actions with LBUs and regional management to resolve any performance issues.
- Work closely with LBUs and local partners to drive sales productivity and implement appropriate infrastructure for effective performance management.
- Manage key regional strategic projects and initiatives as assigned to support partnership development, optimize partnership performance and enhance capabilities across the region.
- Ensure partnership governance by proactive management of Regional Steerco (RSC) and working committee meetings in conjunction with the Partner.
- Develop and manage periodic sales performance reports and manage Annual Incentive Payment for Regional Partnership.
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of relevant insurance/ financial industry experience
- Experience in bancassurance management, and leading cross-functional projects
- Strong communicator with good influencing and stakeholder management capabilities
- Knowledge and experience working in Group or Regional business unit
- Strong business acumen with a strong understanding of life insurance financials
- Strong capabilities in project management
