Proxy Network Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Manage authentication, traffic forwarding, and proxy configurations

Create and fine-tune security policies and PAC files

Support and administer proxy solutions (Forcepoint, Blue Coat, Squid, Zscaler ZIA)

Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities

Collaborate on infrastructure design and feature enhancements

Support cross-functional projects and ensure timely delivery

Conduct security assessments aligned with NIST CSF

Requirements

Experience in infrastructure/network security and proxy technologies

Strong knowledge of authentication protocols and policy management

Hands-on experience with PAC files and traffic routing

Familiarity with vulnerability management and security frameworks

Good problem-solving and communication skills

Certifications

RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer)

BCCP (Blue Coat Certified Professional)
