About the Role
At Azbil Singapore, we help shape smarter, safer, and more sustainable buildings through intelligent automation solutions. We are looking for a Proposal Analyst to join our dynamic precontract team and play a key role in developing winning proposals across the builtenvironment sector.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys combining technical knowledge, commercial insight, and teamwork-and who is eager to grow with new building technologies and smart systems.
What You'll Be Doing
You will be part of the tendering and proposal development process from start to finish, including:
- Reviewing and analysing tender documents to understand technical, commercial, and contractual requirements.
- Preparing and submitting clear, accurate, and competitive bid proposals that meet client specifications and timelines.
- Collaborating with internal teams such as Engineering, Projects, and Sales to respond to clarifications and postsubmission queries.
- Performing cost estimation for project scopes and deliverables.
- Sourcing, evaluating, and managing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Supporting pricing strategies by engaging in commercial discussions and negotiations.
- Working closely with Engineering teams to ensure smooth project handover and providing commercial support during project execution when needed.
What We're Looking For
We welcome both earlycareer and experienced candidates who are keen to learn and grow.
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Ideally with 1-3 years of relevant experience exposure to HVAC and/or Building Management Systems (BMS) is an advantage.
- Strong interest in learning about smart buildings, automation, and emerging building technologies.
- Good communication, writing, analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized, selfmotivated, and dependable, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Comfortable multitasking and prioritizing work to meet tender schedules.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to understand and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and engineering documentation.
- Strong attention to detail with confidence in checking, analysing, and summarising cost calculations.
