about the job
Reporting to the Divisional Director, you will be responsible for the broking and placement of Property Reinsurance accounts (Facultative and Treaty) into the regional and international markets. Your duties will include:
Structuring and placing property reinsurance programs for a diverse portfolio of cedants.
Preparing placing slips, cover notes, and endorsement wordings with high technical accuracy.
Negotiating competitive terms and conditions with reinsurers and underwriters.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with cedants, reinsurers, and internal stakeholders.
Analyzing market trends to provide strategic advice to clients regarding their risk transfer requirements.
Supporting business development initiatives to grow the property book.

skills and experience required
At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Reinsurance Broking, specifically within the Property class of business.
Strong technical understanding of reinsurance structures, slip preparation, and wordings.
Established relationships with regional reinsurers and underwriters are highly advantageous.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with a strong drive for business development and client service.
Relevant regulatory certifications (e.g., CMFAS/CGI) are preferred.
