Responsibilities:
- Oversee risk selection and pricing strategies for Property & Casualty (which includes Engineering, Construction, Bonds) products, ensuring adherence to underwriting guidelines and company risk appetite.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape underwriting strategy, develop new products, and identify market opportunities.
- Monitor underwriting performance through data analysis and reporting, driving continuous improvement.
- Establish strong relationships with brokers, agents, and other distribution partners to support business development goals.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Coach, and develop a team of Property & Casualty underwriters, ensuring strong technical performance and professional growth.
Requirements:
- At least 6 years of experience in a senior / head level developing and underwriting Commercial insurance business and products
- Strong knowledge of P&C insurance products, underwriting principles, and market dynamics.
- Excellent mentoring, and team development skills.
- Strong decision-making ability, supported by data and risk assessment frameworks.
