Project Technical Manager - Singapore - Permanent Contract

Our client is currently seeking the skills of Project Technical Manager to join their team. Our client develops and delivers life changing medicines to millions of people globally and as part of their growth. With their Drug Substance (DS) manufacturing network growing rapidly, they are committed to growing their portfolio of commercial biologics products supplied worldwide and this is your opportunity to be involved!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Work closely with the Project Manager and Sponsor to ensure the technical scopes are aligned with Business and project needs.
- Evaluate in partnership the technical competence of design contractors and proposed external team member qualifications and engage with the Project Manager in their selection.
- Agree the technical resource requirements with the Project Manager, and secure the services of Subject Matter Experts, in consultation with the appropriate Heads in Global Engineering, along with support from other Global technical functions as required or local site technical support.
- Work cross-functionally across the project to deliver a holistic, integrated, compliant process design, influencing stakeholders as needed and highlighting any impact of decisions on budget and schedule.
- Ensure relevant standards (methodologies, tools, concepts, specifications, guidelines and technical solutions) are applied.
- Develop technical performance criteria together with the end-users and ensures these are met during start-up and early operation.
- Ensure that technical learning is captured and disseminated post-project completion.
- Task management and coaching of a team of SMEs
Experience:
- Technical engineering background (Pharma or Bio).
- Strong stakeholder management.
- Strong Project management experience.
